Atrial Fibrillation Support
AF can be a challenging condition to manage, both physically and emotionally. Support groups provide a safe space for patients and their families to share experiences, receive help, and connect with others.
Types of support groups
Online - a convenient and accessible platform for individuals to connect.
Local support groups - in person meeting provide an opportunity for face to face interactions. They are usually organised by local hospitals, charities or patient organisations.
Having run a successful AF support group in Hampshire i was disappointed to learn that there are no similar support groups in South Molton.
With this in mind i would be keen to organise a support group to those within the area that would benefit from such a group. Please contact me in the first instance to register your interest on goldenyearsmentoring@gmail.com.
