My name is Wendy  I am a retired banker and moved to Devon during the pandemic to be near the family. 

 

Life was certainly challenging, especially after a severe fall. Where do I go for help? Who could I talk to? What happens next? - it went round and round in my head in a loop until I felt like giving up, or screaming in frustration.
I needed companionship, talking, human contact, to enable me to feel that I had a voice, I was noticed and valued for who I was.

That's the purpose of my business TO HELP.

Atrial Fibrillation

Most of us have never heard of this condition and I was no exception. It is when the heart beats out of its usual rhythm. I was diagnosed with A.F fourteen years ago and have been learning to accept and live with this diagnosis.

Initially I was scared and lived every day almost waiting for an episode to begin. It was frightening and scary. To be honest I still feel scared but have learnt to cope with it.

I know there are so many out there suffering, often in silence and if you would like to talk to someone who understands what you are going through please contact me. Its so much less frightening if you can share.
